The Local AU PAIR Link is an established Au Pair agency based in Pretoria and Johannesburg.

We have been successfully placing Local AU PAIRS with Local FAMILIES since 1999. Our focus is to assist busy professional families in finding the right Au Pair for their families unique requirements.

We concentrate on recruiting potential candidates who have experience with children, good contactable references, their own car and a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. We also require our Au Pairs to complete a First Aid course and all candidates must also be willing to commit to a client for a minimum of one year.

We are able to provide Au Pairs who work full day or half day with babies and toddlers. These Au Pairs are required to have extensive baby-care experience as well as all the criteria mentioned in the previous paragraph.

We also have Au Pairs who prefer working with older children, usually school-going, whereby they will collect the children from school, transport them to their extra-mural activitires and then take them home and assist them with homework, projects, exam and test preparation. These Au Pairs are usually University Students, either studying in a Child related direction or have good previous Au Pair experience.

All our Au Pairs are willing to do adhoc tasks over and above caring for the children. ie grocery shopping, doctor's appointments, purchasing stationery for projects, etc.

Each and every Au Pair is interviewed and assessed by us and their references are checked before we refer them to our clients.
